🎉 Harbour Festival Wrap-Up: Redruth’s Big Debut in International Theatre! 🎭
Dear Friends of Harbour Festival,
Wow, what a ride! 🚀 The first-ever Harbour Festival is officially in the books, and we’re still buzzing from all the incredible performances, packed-out venues, and sheer festival magic that took over Redruth. Who knew we had such a love for circus antics, choirs, and 6-meter sculptures? If you missed it...well, we’ll forgive you (this time), but here’s a quick round-up of all the festival goodness you missed out on:

🌟 SOLD-OUT SHOWS! 🌟
Yes, you heard that right—many of our amazing shows sold out faster than a hot pasty at lunchtime. Here's what had everyone rushing for tickets:
- By Trial and Error: Two circus performers, a whole lot of chaos, and more laughs than we thought possible in one hour. Families were blown away—mostly by the juggling, but also by the sheer amount of energy these two put into the show! 🎪
- Men Are Singing: Cornwall’s alternative male voice choir packed the house for their emotional farewell. We laughed, we cried, and we even considered joining a choir ourselves (spoiler: it’s harder than it looks). 🎤
- The Worm: This cozy little performance in a smoke-filled room left audiences mesmerized. Cello, harp, and a mysterious broth—don’t ask, just trust us, it was magical. 🐛✨
- Funeral: Ontroerend Goed’s thought-provoking ritual performance had audiences lighting candles, sharing secrets, and pondering the meaning of life. Deep stuff, but somehow beautiful—and nobody actually died! 🌑
- Bamboo: NoFit State Circus brought the *WOW* factor with giant sculptures, daring feats, and enough circus magic to keep us all in awe. Honestly, we’re still not sure how they did it. 🎪

🎭 COMMUNITY SPIRIT IN FULL SWING
Not only did we bring international performers to Redruth, but we also teamed up with local legends like Hooligan Art Community. Their participatory music-theatre experience gave young people the spotlight, showing the world that Cornwall has some serious artistic chops. 💪

💸 ECONOMY BOOST: WE LOVE TO SEE IT
Thanks to all of you lovely festival-goers, Redruth saw an economic boom! Shops were bustling, cafés were packed, and local businesses got to share in the fun. Not bad for a town that usually sees more rain than theatre tickets, huh? ☕💸
